Casa Las Olas, our “House of the Waves”, is just steps away from the warm sand and water of the blue Pacific Ocean. The comfortable tropical climate, coconut palm-lined beach, surfing, boogie-boarding, kayaking, and other beach activities make it the perfect place for your vacation getaway.
The tropical sunsets are truly indescribable, and best enjoyed by taking the short winding path from our front terrace a few steps out to the lovely authentic, thatched roof, private beachfront “palapa”.
Our palapa is also great for dining or simply for sipping your favorite beverage at ocean’s edge, watching your sand castle builders and boogie-boarders at play, or possibly have a soothing massage by our talented massage therapist.
The Interior
Step into luxurious, yet casual beachfront living at Casa Las Olas. The spacious great room has a comfrotable living area for relaxing, a dining area that welcomes great conversation over wonderful meals and a kitchen that makes cooking a dream.

Our inviting living room with its domed, cove lit, “boveda” Mexican brick ceiling is furnished with lovely and comfortable rattan furniture.
The entertainment center contains television, DVD, and VCR players, as well as a stereo CD player. There is a half-bath for guests adjacent to the dining and living room
Custom Kitchen and Dining
For those who love to cook, our gourmet kitchen has everything the discerning chef requires in order to turn the wonderful foods of Mexico into meals to remember.
Granite counter tops and lovely handcrafted cabinetry complete the kitchen. At great gathering place to enjoy each others company while cooking dinner or for those who prefer, our wonderful cooks will prepare you authentic traditional meals.

When you wake up in the morning to the sound of the waves, there’s a treat in store for you right out the terrace doors of our master bedroom.
Casa Las Olas sleeps six persons, in three luxurious air conditioned bedrooms with comfortable king sized beds and ample closet space.
The second guest suite has lovely garden views and the soft afternoon light is great for taking a nap.
Each of the bedrooms at Casa Las Olas are decorated with the finest Mexican textiles and only the highest quality linens are used to assure you of many restful night during your visit.
Each bedroom suite includes a private bath and walk in shower, with custom stone sinks, hand-made talavera tile, high-quality fixtures and hand-crafted shell mirrors.
Enjoy Swimming and Sunning
Just a few steps from our front door you can enjoy a swim in the fresh water pool at Playa Las Tortugas, with it’s palm-roofed palapa and comfortable sunning chairs, or have some fun with your friends.

Wave-surfing in the kayaks or on boogie boards; Canoeing in the calm waters of the estuary; Surfing or Fishing in front of the property; Whale Watching; Enjoying a boat ride for Coastal Sightseeing; Ocean Fishing trips; Sea Turtle Conservation activities (during season); Horseback Riding down several miles of the beach; Birdwatching in our 1100 acres of tidal mangrove estuary.
The El Cora Waterfall is found just outside the small mountain village of El Cora, where you’ll discover several beautiful waterfalls. The highest is over 100 feet, and has a wonderful pool at the bottom of it.
The closest golf courses are at Tepíc (about 1 hour 15 minutes) where you can play all day for about $40 USD while your family enjoys the swimming pools and tennis courts of this local country club, and the “Flamingo” (about 1 hour 40 minutes) towards Puerto Vallarta. There are a number of courses around Vallarta including a Jack Nicklaus course at the Punta Mita Four Seasons.
Rental Information
We have a special “couples” rate for a maximum of 2 persons except during holidays.
The villa is normally rented by the week, though stays of 3 days or more will be considered.
Sorry, children under 6 years of age are not permitted.
No smoking in the home, and no pets are allowed.
