The Waterfalls at El Cora
Between December and June, enjoy an hour-long drive through tropical jungle and typical towns with views out over the ocean, arriving to the small mountain village of El Cora.
Just outside of town, up a short, primitive hiking trail, you’ll discover several waterfalls, one of which is 100-feet high and with a clear pool at the bottom—perfect for a swim in the cool water. The waterfall is visible from the road that is about 300 feet above the pool.
Bring a picnic lunch and make a day of it. For more adventurous hikers, four other waterfalls are located above and below the main falls.
